Learning Model
The Learning Program at Charles Brown serves scholars by prioritizing essential skills and using regular assessments to ensure mastery of those skills. Prerequisite standards are combined with current grade level standards to accelerate the amount of learning that takes place during the school year. This personalized approach to teaching enables scholars to improve their depth of understanding and increase their academic growth during the school year.

Scholars at Charles Brown will benefit from a positive approach to classroom structure and social-emotional well-being. Frequent 1:1 check-ins, whole-class meetings, and social-skill lessons will help provide a counseling enriched program.
Classroom Structure
Classrooms at Charles Brown are structured in a way that promotes collaborative learning and a growth mindset. Class sizes are kept below 15 students to enable our staff to work with students in small groups and provide 1 on 1 instruction as needed.
